Intel and Marvell Report Growth in AI Semiconductor Market

Intel and Marvell Technology report rising revenues and strategic partnerships as they compete to capture expanding demand for artificial intelligence semiconductors.

Intel Corporation reported a 25 percent year-over-year increase in fiscal Q2 2026 revenue, reaching 16.1 billion dollars. This growth follows turnaround efforts led by CEO Lip-Bu Tan since 2025. To support further expansion, the company priced a 20 billion dollar common stock offering and entered a collaboration with Applied Materials to develop next-generation transistors and packaging hardware.

Marvell Technology also showed steady growth, reaching 2.7 billion dollars in Q2 2026. During an October 6 investor day, the company projected that AI data center demand could increase annual sales from 8.2 billion dollars in fiscal 2026 to between 70 billion and 90 billion dollars by fiscal 2031.

To capitalize on these trends, Marvell expanded a multiyear strategic partnership with Alphabet Inc. and introduced new rack-scale memory infrastructure designed for AI workloads.
