Greaves Cotton Reports 31 Percent Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27

Greaves Cotton Limited reported a 31 percent increase in consolidated revenue for Q1 FY27 and expanded its operations into Dubai.

Greaves Cotton Limited reported consolidated revenue of INR 974 crore for the first quarter of FY27, marking a 31 percent increase year-on-year. Standalone revenue rose 16 percent to INR 629 crore. Growth was supported by the Energy Solutions segment, which grew 21 percent, and the Mobility Solutions business, which increased by 18 percent.

Electric vehicle performance saw a significant spike, with electric two-wheeler volumes from Greaves Electric Mobility Limited growing 101 percent year-on-year. To support its subsidiaries, the company subscribed to a rights issue of INR 331 crore for Greaves Electric Mobility and INR 50 crore for Greaves Finance, the latter of which saw Assets Under Management exceed INR 560 crore.

As part of a global expansion strategy, the company incorporated Greaves International Trading FZE in Dubai to serve as a regional hub for the Middle East and Africa. Managing Director and Group CEO Parag Satpute attributed the strong start to the fiscal year to disciplined execution across businesses and the strategic foundations of the Greaves.Next initiative.
