iPhone 18 Pro Delivery Times Spike as Consumers Await Foldable

Apple experienced a sharp increase in estimated delivery times for its iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models during the second week of orders. In the United States, delivery windows for the Pro model jumped from two to 21 days, while the Pro Max rose from 22 to 28 days.

Similar delivery delays emerged in the United Kingdom and Germany. In China, waiting periods reached 27 days for the Pro and 33 days for the Pro Max, though these figures remain lower than the delivery times seen for the iPhone 17 series the previous year.

Analysis from JPMorgan suggests that the spike in delivery times may be influenced by consumers delaying their purchases. Many buyers are likely waiting for the pre-order launch of the foldable iPhone Duo, scheduled for October 16. Analysts indicate that delivery trends in the third week and supply chain feedback in November will serve as the primary indicators of overall demand for the new lineup.
