DeepSeek is leading a tens of millions of dollars seed financing round for robotics startup Winverse AI, valuing the company at approximately $400 million.
DeepSeek, a research lab based in Hangzhou, is leading a seed financing round for Winverse AI, a startup specializing in artificial intelligence for robotics. The investment totals tens of millions of dollars and is drawn from DeepSeek's own financing of more than $12 billion.
Winverse AI was founded by a former top scientist from Tencent Holdings Ltd. In addition to the lead investment from DeepSeek, the startup has secured funding commitments from Long-Z Investments, which serves as the investment arm of Meituan.
Following this seed round, Winverse AI is valued at approximately $400 million.
