Treemendous Tree Care Expands Services After Michigan Storms

Treemendous Tree Care LLC is expanding its tree removal and assessment services in Clinton Township and Macomb Township, Michigan, to address structural damage from severe summer storms. The company is increasing its crane capacity and opening assessment appointments through the autumn leaf-drop period to identify compromised trees before the winter ice season.

This expansion follows two major wind events in Macomb County: a July 3 squall line with 63 mph gusts and September 2-3 storms that produced the first EF-2 tornado in Detroit since 1997. Certified arborists warn that trees weakened by these events, as well as previous ice and windstorms in December 2025 and March 2026, are highly susceptible to failure under winter loads.

Company representatives urge property owners to seek evaluations in September while canopy evidence remains visible. The company notes that trees which remained standing despite summer damage are the ones most likely to fail in December.
