Signature Global Reports Rs 16.5 Crore Net Loss for Q1

Signature Global reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 16.5 crore for the first quarter, attributing the revenue decline to project timelines.

Signature Global reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 16.5 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year, marking a downturn from the Rs 34.4 crore profit earned during the same period last year. Revenue from operations decreased to Rs 552 crore, down from Rs 865.6 crore, while the company recorded an EBITDA loss of Rs 44.7 crore for the June quarter.

Chairman Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal attributed the decline in revenue to project timelines but maintained that underlying business fundamentals and execution momentum remain strong. He cited healthy demand and a robust project pipeline as key drivers of the company's stability.

During the quarter, the company expanded its market reach by entering the branded residences segment through a partnership with Tonino Lamborghini. This move is part of a premiumisation strategy intended to strengthen the developer's position in the premium housing market.
