Democrats Win Two U.S. House Seats in Massachusetts
Democrats Bill Keating and Dan Koh secured victories in Massachusetts' 9th and 6th Congressional Districts during the November 2026 elections.
Democratic candidates secured two U.S. House of Representatives seats in Massachusetts during the November 2026 elections. Bill Keating won reelection to represent the 9th Congressional District on November 3.
In the 6th Congressional District, Democrat Dan Koh is projected to win the seat. The Associated Press called the race around 10:30 p.m. on November 4, with Koh holding just over 62 percent of the vote based on approximately 14 percent of ballots counted. Koh, a former White House senior aide and chief of staff to Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, defeated Republican opponent Micah Jones, an attorney and U.S. Army veteran, who received around 37 percent of the vote.
Koh succeeds Representative Seth Moulton, who vacated the seat after an unsuccessful bid for the U.S. Senate seat held by Ed Markey.
