Cloudflare launched Cloudflare OS, an open-source AI workspace that integrates AI tools with internal company systems using a Zero Trust security model.
Cloudflare, Inc. launched Cloudflare OS, an open-source AI workspace designed to integrate AI tools directly with a company's internal systems, knowledge, and approval processes. The platform allows employees to conduct research, automate tasks, and build applications without requiring developer expertise.
Developed initially for its own global workforce, the system is built on Cloudflare Access and Cloudflare AI Gateway. It utilizes a Zero Trust security model featuring Gatekeepers that control how AI accesses internal data. CEO Matthew Prince stated the platform was created to remove developer bottlenecks, noting that Cloudflare OS is how the company runs its own operations.
The workspace is currently available via an open-source repository. Managed deployment options and tailored implementations are expected soon through partners including Presidio of San Francisco and Happy Cog.
