Bristol Myers Squibb Invests $2.3 Billion in Houston Campus

Bristol Myers Squibb is investing US$2.3 billion to construct a 600,000-square-foot multi-modal manufacturing campus in Houston, Texas. Located within Generation Park, the modular facility will produce biologics, small molecules, and antibody-drug conjugates. The project is expected to create nearly 500 specialist jobs, with an additional 2,000 construction and indirect roles projected between 2027 and 2030.

This expansion is part of a broader US$40 billion five-year commitment to research, development, and domestic manufacturing within the United States. The Houston site joins another major pharmaceutical presence at Generation Park, where Eli Lilly and Company is building a US$6.5 billion facility.

The company is simultaneously expanding its global infrastructure and technology. This includes the scaling of NVIDIA-powered AI systems and the construction of a US$400 million sterile drug product facility in Dublin, Ireland, which is scheduled for completion in 2026.
