Anthropic PBC launched Claude for Financial Advisors on September 15, 2026, a specialized AI suite designed to automate administrative workflows, regulatory compliance, and client research for wealth managers and institutional analysts. The system integrates Claude's chatbot capabilities with data and software from major financial firms, including BlackRock Inc., Charles Schwab Corp., Vanguard Group Inc., iCapital, Addepar, and Envestnet, as well as workplace tools like Salesforce and Microsoft 365.

Key features include pre-meeting briefing tools, post-meeting summary generation, and compliance checks against the US Securities and Exchange Commission Marketing Rule. A primary partnership with Charles Schwab enables over 16,000 independent registered investment advisors to access the Schwab Advisor Center directly within the AI interface. The tool is available as a free plugin, though access to the underlying Claude model requires a monthly fee estimated between $70 and $120 per user.

Anthropic positioned the tool as an orchestrator to increase capacity for a shrinking community of financial professionals rather than a replacement for human judgment.
