Adam Brody Calls Gaza Conflict a Genocide in GQ Interview

Actor Adam Brody publicly declared his support for a free Palestine and characterized the conflict in Gaza as a genocide during an interview with GQ. The statements come ahead of the October 22 release of the third season of his Netflix series Nobody Wants This.

Brody stated that he had previously discussed these issues primarily in private and noted that the situation has reached a breaking point following significant death and misery. He expressed hope that a future administration would correct policies contributing to the crisis. When addressing his lack of public political activism during press appearances, Brody explained that he typically only answers the questions he is asked.

Beyond the conflict in Gaza, Brody defended his decision to avoid social media, specifically stating he will not use any platform involving Elon Musk. His public comments follow protests in New York City where approximately 100 people, including several Hollywood figures, were arrested outside the United Nations General Assembly while demonstrating against the arrival of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
