Samsung Launches Galaxy Z Fold8 and Flip8 Series in India

Samsung Electronics announced the launch and start of pre-orders in India for its latest foldable smartphone lineup, consisting of the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8. The new series utilizes the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy and introduces a Flex Titanium display structure designed to reduce crease visibility.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra serves as the premium model with a 5,000mAh battery. The standard Galaxy Z Fold8 is the lightest model in its history at 201 grams and includes a 200MP main camera, while the Galaxy Z Flip8 is the slimmest Flip model to date. All three devices feature Galaxy AI integrated with Gemini Intelligence.

In the Indian market, pricing for the Z Flip8 starts at ₹1,24,999, with the Z Fold8 starting at ₹1,79,999 and the Z Fold8 Ultra starting at ₹1,99,999. Company leadership emphasized the role of agentic AI in creating personalized user experiences and maintained that the new hardware sets a new standard for the premium foldable category.
