Tesla Reports Record Deliveries and Robotaxi Expansion

Tesla achieved record second-quarter deliveries and expanded its Robotaxi service to seven U.S. markets amid growing demand for Full Self-Driving technology.

Tesla, Inc. achieved record deliveries in the second quarter of 2026 and reported its largest order backlog since 2023. Management stated that production is currently limited by supply rather than demand, with Full Self-Driving (FSD) serving as a primary driver of customer interest.

Tesla, Inc. expanded its Robotaxi operations to seven U.S. markets, including Florida, Texas, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Autonomous miles for the service are increasing by more than 10% weekly. Tesla continues development of the Optimus robot, though the company expects scaling to be gradual due to manufacturing complexities.

As of July 31, 2026, Tesla shares closed at $311.21, bringing the company's market capitalization to $1.23 trillion.
