Larvotto Resources Expands Hillgrove Project With High-Grade Discovery

Larvotto Resources expanded the mineralized envelope at its Hillgrove antimony-gold project in New South Wales after diamond drilling at the Clarks Gully prospect intersected thick high-grade zones. The drilling revealed a stacked mineralized system where gold and tungsten grades increase with depth, including a significant tungsten trioxide hit.

This discovery occurs as tungsten prices surge due to increased defense demand and Chinese export controls. Following the recent start of production and first concentrate output at the Hillgrove mine, the company initiated the permitting process for a low-footprint underground operation at Clarks Gully. This site is intended to serve as a secondary feed source for the existing Hillgrove processing facility.

Managing Director Ron Heeks noted that the results highlight the potential to expand the current resource. The company is currently updating its resource estimate for the prospect based on new geological modeling.
