Nevada voters expanded Democratic control of state government and congressional representation during the November 5, 2026, elections. Theresa Benitez-Thompson declared victory in the 2nd Congressional District, marking the first time the typically deep-red district has elected a Democrat. Democratic incumbents Dina Titus, Susie Lee, and Steven Horsford all retained their respective seats.
At the state level, Democrats maintained control of the state Senate and Assembly. The Assembly may have reached a veto-proof supermajority.

Question 7 established new voter ID requirements, requiring photo identification at polling stations or specific identification numbers for mail-in ballots, passing with 62.29% approval.
