Iran Sends Two-Phase Negotiation Plan to US via Pakistan

The Government of Iran has submitted a new two-phase negotiation plan to the United States using Pakistan as the sole diplomatic mediator. Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam confirmed that Pakistani leadership transferred the proposals to Washington. The first phase focuses on reopening the Strait of Hormuz, lifting the naval blockade, and ending conflicts in Iran and Lebanon. The second phase proposes a 30-day negotiation period centered on Iran's nuclear program.

In response to the outreach, the White House added Nick Stewart to its peace talks team. However, Iranian leadership remains critical of American policy, with Ambassador Moghadam stating that progress depends on the United States changing its behavior and approach. Simultaneously, Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei declared a future for the Gulf region without American presence, while the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned the U.S. must choose between a deal or military action.
