Kazakhstan and Central African Republic Establish Diplomatic Relations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and the government of the Central African Republic established formal diplomatic relations on September 23. The agreement was finalized through a Joint Communiqué signed by the foreign ministers of both nations during the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Both countries expressed mutual interest in developing bilateral ties and cooperating across various international platforms. The establishment of these relations was described as an important outcome of the first day of the assembly.

During the same period, Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi held a series of bilateral meetings to expand political and economic dialogue. These discussions included foreign ministers from Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Slovenia, Ukraine, and El Salvador. Tleuberdi also met with UN Trade and Development Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan and UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany to discuss the adaptation of international institutions to current global challenges.
