IndiGo Shifts All Guwahati Operations to Terminal 2

IndiGo will transition all flight operations to Terminal 2 at Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport in Guwahati starting at 12:01 AM on July 20. All arrivals and departures for the airline will be handled exclusively from the new integrated terminal.

The facility features a bamboo-themed architectural design inspired by the cultural heritage of Assam. Airport authorities stated the shift aims to provide a more efficient, modern travel experience and meet growing air travel demand in Northeast India.

Passengers must report directly to Terminal 2 for check-in, security screening, and boarding. To support the transition, the airport has deployed on-ground assistance staff and implemented new wayfinding signage.
