Andrew Cuomo purchased a $9.6 million waterfront estate in the Southampton area of the Hamptons. Records from the Suffolk County Clerk’s Office show the former New York governor acquired the property in a cash deal through an LLC. The estate comprises four parcels of land and includes a nine-bedroom main house, a guest house, a pool, a tennis court, a gym, and a wine cellar.
Cuomo intends to use the property as an investment and selected the location to be near his brother, Chris Cuomo. The 68-year-old continues to maintain an apartment in New York City.
At the time of the purchase, Cuomo is traveling to Singapore to speak at TOKEN2049, the world's largest cryptocurrency event. This appearance follows his appointment as cochair of a joint venture between OKX and the owner of the New York Stock Exchange.
