The program is designed for salaried and self-employed individuals to spread travel costs over a repayment period of three to nine months.
Powered by FCMB Premium Banking, the facility is available exclusively for tickets purchased through 247 Travels. Eligible customers can apply via the bank's financing platform or the travel agency's website, with approved applicants receiving fund disbursement within 24 working hours. The initiative targets travel needs related to business, education, healthcare, tourism, and family commitments.
Yemisi Edun, Managing Director of FCMB, stated that the solution is intended to make travel more accessible and affordable. Tunji Adeyemi, Managing Director of 247 Travels, noted that the partnership addresses the challenge of paying full ticket costs upfront, while Opeyemi Makinwa, Group Head of Premium Banking at FCMB, emphasized the product's focus on lifestyle-oriented financial services.
