Elon Musk Announces Flying Cars Will Enter Market

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, announced on the social media platform X that flying cars will enter the market. The announcement follows previous teasers for the Tesla Roadster, a supercar that has faced multiple production delays.

The Roadster is expected to feature a SpaceX package utilizing cold gas thrusters. One set of thrusters is designed for acceleration, while a ground-facing set would allow the vehicle to gain small amounts of altitude to jump over obstacles.

Tesla has not yet officially released the car. The vehicle was originally scheduled for an unveiling earlier this year before the date was pushed to August.
