Political Leaders Call for Peace Amid CJP Education Protests

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) continues an indefinite protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi over irregularities and paper leaks in the NEET-UG examinations. The demonstrations have led to public disruption and violence, prompting calls from various political leaders for a peaceful resolution.

Mayawati, leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party, urged the central government and protesters to collaborate on an amicable settlement. She characterized the examination leaks as a failure of "constitutional morality," arguing that such corruption disrupts daily life across Delhi and other states. Mayawati criticized other political parties for politicizing the movement and called for the intervention of courts and constitutional institutions.

Similarly, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) condemned the violence associated with the CJP protests. While supporting the students' grievances, the organization warned against exploiting these issues for narrow political interests. The ABVP requested that the Government of India establish a high-level committee to conduct a comprehensive, time-bound review of the integrity and transparency of competitive examinations to ensure greater accountability.
