ABVP Demands High-Level Panel Over NEET Paper Leaks
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad called for a government review committee to address examination integrity after condemning violent protests organized by the Cockroach Janata Party.
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) condemned the violence and public disruption during protests at Jantar Mantar organized by the Cockroach Janata Party. The demonstrations focused on NEET paper leaks and broader education reforms. While the organization supports the students' core grievances, it warned against the exploitation of these issues for narrow political interests or the creation of national instability.
To address the systemic failures, the ABVP called on the Government of India to establish a high-level committee. This panel would conduct a comprehensive review of the integrity and transparency of competitive examinations and provide time-bound recommendations to increase accountability.
ABVP National General Secretary Virendra Singh Solanki stated that resolutions must be achieved through meaningful dialogue and institutional reforms. He argued that using student demands for political manipulation is a grave injustice to student welfare. These demands followed protests at the National Testing Agency headquarters seeking accountability for examination irregularities.
