AI Startup Wabi Raises $55 Million at $1.25 Billion Valuation
Wabi raised $55 million in funding to develop collaborative AI tools designed to help groups coordinate activities and manage shared interests.
Personal AI assistant startup Wabi raised $55 million in a funding round that valued the company at $1.25 billion. The round was led by IVP, with additional participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Forerunner, the Amazon Alexa Fund, and various angel investors.
Founded by Eugenia Kuyda, Wabi differs from traditional AI assistants by emphasizing multiplayer experiences. The platform integrates an AI agent with personalized mini-apps and shared spaces, allowing groups to coordinate activities, manage households, and pursue shared interests. Kuyda envisions the platform as an operating system for life where users can combine their tools, people, and AI to focus on what matters.
The company will use the new capital for product development and expansion. Wabi is currently available on iOS, Android, and Mac, with a Windows version planned for future release.
