Apple Tests Major Redesign for 20th Anniversary iPhone

Apple is reportedly testing a significant redesign for its 2027 smartphone lineup to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original iPhone. According to leaks from industry tipster Digital Chat Station, the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max may move away from the Dynamic Island in favor of a smaller punch-hole cutout and quad-curved displays with near-borderless edges.

Technical specifications indicate a slight size increase over the iPhone 18 Pro series. The iPhone 20 Pro is being tested with a 6.41-inch display featuring 2,686 x 1,236 pixels, while the Pro Max model may utilize a 6.96-inch panel with 2,912 x 1,340 pixels.

Some reports suggest the company may skip the iPhone 19 designation entirely to align the model number with the 20th anniversary. Apple has not confirmed these design changes or naming plans.
