SUSE Launches Sovereign AI Platform with NVIDIA Integration
SUSE introduced the SUSE AI Factory with NVIDIA to provide enterprises and governments with sovereign control over autonomous AI agents and proprietary data.
SUSE launched the SUSE AI Factory with NVIDIA, a sovereign AI platform designed to give enterprises full control over private AI deployments. The platform integrates NVIDIA OpenShell Reference Architecture, allowing organizations to run autonomous AI agents within their own infrastructure using zero-trust security to prevent the exfiltration of proprietary data and intellectual property.
The technical stack utilizes NVIDIA Vera Rubin for model inference, Vera CPUs for agent execution, and BlueField-4 DPUs for policy enforcement. To further optimize performance, SUSE released SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for NVIDIA, a platform specifically engineered for NVIDIA chips to streamline AI workloads and troubleshooting.
To expand the ecosystem, SUSE established a two-tier independent software vendor (ISV) certification program with "Ready for" and "Certified for" designations, starting with six initial partners. The company also partnered with Fujitsu to develop a production-ready hybrid quantum intelligence platform combining SUSE AI Factory and NVIDIA CUDA-Q software on Fujitsu servers.
The Secretariat of Finance of Guanajuato in Mexico is currently utilizing these services to develop a "cognitive government" for public administration. This implementation is overseen by José Luis Huerta Santos, who noted the platform provides a clear path toward this goal.
