Jamie Dimon Leads 40-Company AI Safety Initiative

Jamie Dimon is leading a coalition of over 40 companies through the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure to develop AI safety guardrails for U.S. systems.

Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, is leading an industry-wide effort to mitigate risks posed by advanced artificial intelligence. Through the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure, Dimon recruited CEOs from more than 40 companies across the energy, telecommunications, railroad, and financial services sectors beginning in July.

The coalition focuses on establishing AI safety guardrails and developing a shared understanding of systemic risks. This initiative aims to enhance the resilience of systems essential to U.S. infrastructure and intends to coordinate directly with the Trump administration to ensure these protections are effective.

The push for cross-sector collaboration follows a series of cyberattacks that targeted water systems across approximately 12 U.S. states, highlighting the vulnerability of critical infrastructure to emerging technological threats.
