Apple Reports Record $114.5 Billion September Quarter Revenue
Apple Inc. achieved a global revenue record of $114.5 billion, driven by all-time high revenues in India and strong iPhone 17 sales.
Apple Inc. reported a record September quarter revenue of $114.5 billion, representing a 12% year-over-year increase, with a net profit of $30.7 billion. The company saw significant growth across its primary product lines, with global iPhone revenue rising 17% to $57.6 billion and Mac revenue increasing 24% to $10.8 billion, bolstered by the MacBook Neo and MacBook Pro.
India emerged as a primary growth engine, where the company achieved all-time revenue records for iPhone, Mac, and Services. The iPhone 17 was the top-shipped model in the region, and the average selling price for iPhones exceeded $1,000. While Apple's overall smartphone market share in India dipped one percentage point to 8%, the company expanded its financial ecosystem by launching Apple Pay through a partnership with Axis Bank.
CEO John Ternus and CFO Kevan Parekh noted that India was a key driver for a record number of iPhone upgraders globally. The company also set September quarter revenue records in developed markets, including the United States and China.
