Florida Man Boycotts Maine Tourism Over Senate Candidate Support

A Florida resident is boycotting Maine's tourism industry over the political leanings of the state's electorate. George Sigler, who has spent every autumn in Maine for 22 years, canceled his annual vacation reservations after reviewing polling data showing that nearly 50% of Maine residents support Senate candidate Graham Platner.

Sigler stated that he would withhold his spending from local businesses because he believes Platner is a person of poor character. He described the level of support for the candidate as an absolutely poor choice, arguing that he does not want to spend money in a state that supports such an individual.
