U.S. Army Launches Reveille Forge for Technology Integration
The U.S. Army established Reveille Forge as a permanent testing environment to integrate defense technologies from government, industry, and academia before soldier deployment.
The United States Army established Reveille Forge, a permanent integration and testing environment designed to resolve technology interoperability challenges. The initiative follows Operation Jailbreak, a series of exercises aimed at identifying barriers to system integration. Reveille Forge provides a persistent integrate-first space where government, industry, and academia can test how different systems work together before they are deployed to soldiers.
Leidos is a key participant in the program, recently completing Jailbreak Sprint 1.5 at Redstone Arsenal to validate the Army Long-Range Persistent Surveillance system. Earlier efforts at Fort Carson included demonstrations of the MXR AI-enabled counter-drone radar and the IFPC Inc 2 weapon system.
The program supports the Army's Modular Open Systems Approach, which uses open interfaces to connect software, sensors, and weapons from multiple providers. This strategy aims to increase cybersecurity and operational maturity by ensuring different technologies can communicate seamlessly.
