JD Vance Campaigns for Roger Marshall in Kansas

Vice President JD Vance traveled to the Kansas City area on Monday to campaign for Republican Senator Roger Marshall in a tightening Senate race. During the visit, Vance held an event in Kansas City, Missouri, where he announced that approximately 870,000 individuals suspected of defrauding pandemic-era small business aid programs will be barred from receiving future federal loans. Vance also attended a campaign event at a manufacturing facility in Olathe, Kansas.

The Republican effort to support Marshall comes as the senator faces political pressure following a New York Times investigation. The report revealed that Marshall sued more than 700 patients for medical debts, resulting in wage garnishments and arrests. Democratic challenger Adam Hamilton has used these findings to criticize Marshall's record on caring for the poor.
