Micron Revenue Surges 256% as Customer Base Diversifies

Micron Technology grew annual revenue to $133 billion and secured 26 multi-year agreements to protect future sales through 2030.

Micron Technology grew its annual revenue by 256% to approximately $133 billion in fiscal 2026, driven primarily by a 180% increase in average selling prices for DRAM memory chips. The company reported a decrease in customer concentration, noting that no single customer accounted for 10% or more of its revenue this year, compared to one customer representing 17% of sales in fiscal 2025.

Despite this diversification, the company remains dependent on a small group of clients, with its top 10 customers providing over half of total revenue. Data centers now account for roughly 60% of sales, increasing the company's exposure to capital spending trends in that sector.

To stabilize future demand and protect against memory market cycles, the company expanded its strategic customer agreements. During its fourth-quarter earnings call on September 30, the company reported it now has 26 such agreements running through at least 2030, up from 16 in the third quarter. These contracts are backed by $32 billion in financial commitments, primarily as cash deposits, and are expected to cover over 35% of projected revenue through 2030. Three-quarters of this estimated revenue utilizes price-band frameworks with minimum and maximum prices.
