National Highways to Close M25 Junction 15 for Overnight Works

National Highways will close the M25 anticlockwise at junction 15 for 14 hours on October 24 and 25, potentially delaying Heathrow Airport passengers.

National Highways will close the M25 anticlockwise at junction 15, between the M4 slip roads, for overnight works starting at 8 p.m. Saturday, October 24, and ending at 10 a.m. Sunday, October 25. The 14-hour closure is expected to cause congestion for passengers traveling to Heathrow Airport, specifically those heading to Terminals 2 and 3 who typically use junction 15. Travelers to Terminals 4 and 5 are advised to use junction 14.

Diversions will route anticlockwise traffic onto the M4 westbound to junction 5, then eastbound to rejoin the M25 at junction 4b. The clockwise carriageway and all M25-M4 connections will remain open. The closure coincides with the end of British Summer Time, as clocks move back one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday. National Highways expects the M25-M4 interchange to be busiest between 8 a.m. and midday on Sunday, with delays potentially continuing after the road reopens.

Majid Ismailzada, Marketing Director at GM Rides, warned travelers that a lunchtime flight can still require traveling during the morning. He advised passengers to plan their journeys by working backwards from check-in and security times to ensure they reach their terminals on time.
