NASBA Nominates Katrina Salazar as 2026-27 Board Chair
The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy nominated Katrina Salazar as chair and J. Andy Bonner as vice-chair following Coalter Baker's resignation.
The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) Nominating Committee has appointed Katrina Salazar as the nominee for chair and J. Andy Bonner as the nominee for vice-chair for the 2026–27 Board. This leadership shift follows the resignation of vice-chair Coalter Baker, who stepped down to focus on his health.
Salazar, who previously served as the vice-chair nominee and is currently a director-at-large and chair of the Legislative Support Committee, now ascends to the chair nominee role. J. Andy Bonner, the current NASBA treasurer and chair of the Administration and Finance Committee, has been nominated to fill the vice-chair position.
NASBA President and CEO Daniel Dustin expressed support for the transition and the qualifications of the new nominees. The updated leadership slate will be presented to member boards for consideration at the organization's annual business meeting in October.
