ASML Raises 2026 Sales Forecast to 45 Billion Euros
ASML Holding NV increased its 2026 revenue guidance and pledged a 30% annual production boost to meet rising AI-driven chip demand.
ASML Holding NV raised its 2026 net sales forecast to between 43 billion and 45 billion euros, a significant increase from its previous guidance of 34 billion to 40 billion euros. The Dutch semiconductor equipment manufacturer reported second-quarter net sales of 9.33 billion euros and net income of 2.92 billion euros, both of which exceeded market expectations.
Company leadership attributed the growth to robust demand for advanced logic and memory chips fueled by artificial intelligence infrastructure investments. To address this, the company pledged to increase production capacity for its extreme ultraviolet (EUV) and deep ultraviolet (DUV) lithography tools by approximately 30% annually over the next two years.
CEO Christophe Fouquet stated that customers are accelerating their capacity expansion plans. CFO Roger Dassen noted that this new demand includes Elon Musk's Terafab in Texas. Despite U.S.-led export restrictions on EUV tools, ASML expects Chinese customers to account for roughly 20% of its sales this year.
