Chirag Paswan Urges Opposition to Use Institutional Channels
Union Minister Chirag Paswan criticized the INDIA bloc's Delhi protests and urged the opposition to seek answers from the Election Commission of India.
Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan criticized the INDIA bloc's recent protests in Delhi, describing the opposition's tactics as creating a "ruckus every day" on "flimsy pretexts." Speaking from Lucknow, Paswan argued that while protests are an essential part of democracy and strengthen government accountability, the opposition should transition from public demonstrations to formal institutional channels.
Paswan urged the INDIA bloc to seek appointments with the Election Commission of India to receive point-by-point answers to their questions regarding the electoral process. He expressed concern that opposition doubts could evolve into public misconceptions and warned that ignoring institutional protocols and security boundaries during protests could lead to untoward incidents.
