Samsung Electronics is preparing to launch the Galaxy S26 FE, with leaks and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) filings suggesting a debut on September 4, potentially at the IFA trade show. The device introduces a new design language aligned with the Galaxy S26 series, replacing individual rear camera protrusions with a single oval-shaped camera island. It will be available in Graphite, Aqua Green, and a third hue described as either blue-purple or indigo.

Technical specifications reveal a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz display and a camera system comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Battery capacity reports vary slightly between 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh, though both sources confirm 45W wired charging, wireless charging, and supplemental satellite support.

Hardware filings indicate a hybrid silicon approach. While the device utilizes Samsung LSI technologies for cellular and WWAN functionality—likely via the Exynos 2500 chipset—it employs Qualcomm FastConnect technologies for local wireless networking. This marks a departure from the Galaxy S25 FE, which relied exclusively on Samsung transmission technologies. The use of FastConnect over Qualcomm's Smart Transmit suggests US buyers may not receive a Snapdragon variant.
