Rogo Technologies Inc. is expanding its Asia-Pacific operations by opening a new office in Singapore, which will serve as the hub for its regional strategy. The New York-based AI startup, valued at $2 billion following an April fundraising round led by Kleiner Perkins, cited Singapore's strong talent pool and high AI preparedness as primary drivers for the move.
The company is currently recruiting staff in Tokyo and Sydney, with a goal of reaching a regional headcount of 150 to 200 employees by the end of 2027. Rogo's platform automates tasks typically handled by junior bankers, and the company is evolving its product to become a comprehensive operating system for banks that covers asset management, compliance, and governance.
Regional clients already using the platform include Barclays Plc, Nomura Holdings Inc., and Daiwa Securities Group Inc., with reports that GIC Pte is also a client.
