Bell Canada and Cisco Partner for Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Bell Canada International Inc. and Cisco Systems, Inc. signed a memorandum of understanding on September 29, 2026, to develop a sovereign AI infrastructure offering for Canada. The collaboration integrates Bell's domestic data center assets, including power, cooling, physical security, and connectivity, with Cisco's AI infrastructure and sovereign critical technology.

The companies will evaluate Cisco AI PODs architectures to support diverse AI workloads hosted on Canadian soil. As part of the agreement, the partners intend to explore flexible consumption models that allow customers to align their costs with specific AI infrastructure reservations or usage levels.
