TotalEnergies will reduce diesel and heating fuel prices in France from November to January to mitigate costs for consumers and industry.

TotalEnergies SE will implement price reductions for diesel and heating fuel across France from November 1 to January 31. The initiative aims to mitigate the impact of a recent surge in diesel prices, specifically benefiting farmers, fishermen, and construction firms.

Chief Executive Officer Patrick Pouyanné announced that the company will lower road diesel prices by approximately 10 euro cents per liter. This action follows a government-led effort by the French Republic to release strategic diesel reserves to lower costs for consumers.
