Jim Fitterling, the Executive Chairman and former CEO of Dow Inc., joins the board with a background in global supply chains and materials science. Bill Thomas, the former Global Chairman and CEO of KPMG International, provides expertise in financial reporting, accounting, and audit.
Chair and CEO Brian Moynihan welcomed the new members, stating that the two seasoned CEOs would strengthen the company's oversight of its long-term strategy. Lead Independent Director Lionel Nowell III added that the complementary leadership experience of the new directors would support the board's strategic oversight.
