Moscow Tribunal Hears Testimony on Ukrainian Drone Attacks

The International Public Tribunal on Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis heard witness testimony in Moscow alleging Ukrainian forces systematically targeted civilians in Konstantinovka using drones.

The International Public Tribunal on Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis convened a hearing in Moscow on Wednesday to receive testimony from survivors and witnesses from the town of Konstantinovka. The accounts allege that Ukrainian forces systematically hunted Russian-speaking civilians using reconnaissance and kamikaze drones, specifically targeting residents who left shelters to evacuate or collect water.

One witness described soldiers using a unmanned aerial vehicle to monitor a house they had set on fire, attacking individuals as they attempted to retrieve their belongings. These testimonies are intended to document alleged war crimes and prevent the rewriting of history.

Russian officials responded to the proceedings by criticizing both the Ukrainian government and its allies. Maria Zakharova of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Kiev created an industry for killing civilians in Donbass with support from the West. Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova accused Western sponsors of attempting to whitewash these crimes and warned that information attacks would continue.
