Zayo and NVIDIA Build 8,000 Miles of AI Fiber
Zayo is partnering with NVIDIA to deploy 8,000 miles of new long-haul fiber to support the expanding AI factory ecosystem across North America.
Zayo is collaborating with NVIDIA to expand network capacity to support the growth of AI factories and the broader AI ecosystem. The initiative involves building over 8,000 miles of new long-haul fiber across emerging AI corridors and expanding capacity within existing infrastructure to bridge the gap between compute demand and available network bandwidth.
The buildout includes six new long-haul routes and overbuilds across 10 high-demand markets. This connectivity is designed for hyperscalers, neoclouds, frontier model developers, and enterprises in the finance and healthcare sectors. Over the last 18 months, Zayo has expanded its AI-focused projects to more than 15,000 route miles across North America, a growth effort bolstered by the acquisition of Crown Castle’s Fiber Solutions business to increase metro density for AI workloads.
