John Fetterman Voting Alignment With Democrats Drops Below 80%
Senator John Fetterman has decreased his voting alignment with the Democratic Party and missed a significant number of committee meetings during Donald Trump's second term.
An analysis by The Inquirer shows that John Fetterman, the U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, has significantly shifted his legislative behavior since the start of President Donald Trump's second term. While Fetterman previously voted with fellow Democrats nearly 100% of the time during the final years of Joe Biden's presidency, his alignment with the party has fallen to less than 80%.
The report also highlights a decline in the senator's attendance and participation. Fetterman has attended only 16% of 158 possible committee and subcommittee meetings during the current congressional session. Additionally, he has missed approximately 9% of his 1,500 votes, making him less present than most of his congressional colleagues.
