Moonshot AI Expands Operations Into Singapore

Moonshot AI is expanding its operations into Singapore to establish strategic partnerships and build scalable revenue. The Chinese artificial intelligence startup listed a new sales role on LinkedIn on October 20, 2026, seeking candidates with backgrounds in venture capital, consulting, product, or engineering.

Business registry records show the company incorporated a business entity in Singapore in July 2023, which it later renamed Novascent in June 2026. This expansion follows the July release of the Kimi K3 model, which the company describes as the world's largest open-weight AI system with performance approaching that of Anthropic's models.

The startup is backed by Tencent Holdings, Meituan, and China Mobile.
