Boeing July Deliveries Drop 17 Percent to 53 Jets

The Boeing Company delivered 53 jets in July, marking a 17 percent decline from the 64 aircraft delivered in June. Despite the monthly drop, the figure remains five units higher than the previous year's July total. The delivery mix included 39 737 MAX jets, 10 787s, three 767s, and one 777 freighter, bringing the company's year-to-date total to 367 jets.

Boeing trailed its European competitor, Airbus SE, which delivered 67 planes during the same period. On the order front, the planemaker recorded 30 net new orders in July after accounting for eight cancellations. Many of these orders were secured during the Farnborough Airshow.

Among the notable activity at the airshow, SMBC Aviation Capital Finance DAC announced an order for 100 737 MAX jets. However, Boeing had already recorded that specific order in June under an unidentified customer.
