General Cherry Partners With Wilcox Industries to Produce Drones in US

Ukrainian drone manufacturer General Cherry is partnering with U.S.-based Wilcox Industries Corp to produce first-person-view (FPV) and interceptor drones in the United States. The collaboration shifts production to a Wilcox facility in New Hampshire, a move designed to shield the company from Russian missile and drone attacks while bypassing the constraints of Ukraine's local defense budget and saturated market.

Stanislav Hryshyn, co-founder of General Cherry, stated that remaining exclusively in Ukraine would risk the company being eliminated both physically and commercially. While the project awaits formal approval, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has endorsed the effort to scale Ukrainian technology on a global level.

James Teetzel, CEO of Wilcox Industries Corp, noted that the partnership would provide significant value to the U.S. Government by combining Ukrainian technological expertise with American engineering and manufacturing infrastructure.
