Aldi and Sainsbury's Slash Festive Chocolate Prices

Aldi and Sainsbury's have lowered prices on Quality Street and Cadbury Heroes chocolate tubs to attract early holiday shoppers. Aldi reduced the cost of its 500g Quality Street and 475g Cadbury Heroes tubs to £3.85 each, asserting that these are the cheapest options available on the market.

Sainsbury's is offering 550g Quality Street tubs for £3.95 and providing Cadbury Heroes to Nectar card holders for £4.95. While Aldi's price point is lower, its Quality Street tub contains 50g less chocolate than the version sold at Sainsbury's.

Aldi claims its festive chocolate tubs are approximately 40% cheaper than equivalent products offered at Sainsbury's.
