Eli Lilly Raises 2026 Revenue Forecast to $92 Billion
Eli Lilly increased its 2026 revenue guidance following a 39% surge in third-quarter revenue driven by strong demand for Zepbound and Mounjaro.
Pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly and Company raised its 2026 revenue forecast to between $91 billion and $92 billion, marking the third time the company has increased its guidance this year. The revision follows a third-quarter revenue climb of 39% to $24.4 billion, fueled by global demand for its diabetes and weight-loss medications. Mounjaro revenue increased 65% to $10.7 billion, while Zepbound revenue rose 49% to $5.35 billion.
Despite the revenue growth, the company lowered its updated earnings per share range to $35.00–$36.00. This adjustment stems from $4.57 per share in charges associated with the acquisitions of Curevo and AtaiBeckley. In the United States, revenue rose 34% to $15.1 billion.
In a separate legal development, a federal judge in New Jersey denied a request by Novo Nordisk to halt Eli Lilly's weight-loss drug advertising. Novo Nordisk has challenged the advertisements as false since July.
