Franklin Templeton Manager Urges Nvidia to Detail Capital Spending
Sara Araghi of Franklin Templeton says Nvidia must provide concrete details on investment value and cash flow ahead of its quarterly earnings report.
Sara Araghi, a portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton, stated that Nvidia Corp. must provide concrete details on capital deployment and spending sustainability rather than relying on a headline earnings beat. Speaking ahead of the chipmaker's quarterly results, Araghi emphasized that the market requires clarity on the value of investments and the generation of free cash flow to support both reinvestment and stock buybacks.
Araghi noted that while Nvidia's growth remains substantial, market multiples already price in a coming deceleration. She also highlighted that the company's gross margins, which typically hover around 75%, will face scrutiny due to rising input costs. Nvidia has attempted to offset these costs through price increases for its server systems.
