Israel Police Schedule Large-Scale Emergency Drill in Jerusalem

Israel Police will execute a large-scale, district-wide emergency drill in Jerusalem on Tuesday, July 15, 2026. The exercise is scheduled to run from approximately 7 a.m. to noon and serves as part of an annual training program to simulate various emergency scenarios.

Officials intend to use the drill to improve operational response, fitness, and readiness. The program focuses specifically on practicing command-and-control procedures and the synchronization of operational, emergency, and rescue bodies.

Residents and commuters should expect an intensive movement of security forces, patrol vehicles, and emergency vehicles throughout Jerusalem and along the primary traffic routes leading into the city during the exercise window.
